We had some nice talks from some of the older members of the ward – quite honestly, any talk is great as long as I don’t have to give it.

I dropped Physics 220 – the changes to the major aren’t official yet, but I figure I can take it later if I need to, so instead I’m just taking a Health/PE class to fill a GE requirement. The instructor made a comment saying that “most of you [students] were in junior high back in 2000.” You can imagine that made me feel a little old. Nothing like a freshman-level class to help boost the ol’ GPA, though.

FHE last night was at our bishop’s house – nothing makes for a great activity like free barbecue and good conversation.

Hopefully, things will pick up as school starts and everyone gets settled in. Our FHE group consists of two Mt Vista apartments and two other houses – 25 people according to the books.

Speaking of classes starting tomorrow, I’m not at all looking forward to that, despite the fact that Tuesdays and Thursdays are a bit lighter. It will be nice to get back to work in the library and do some meaningful programming.
