By Reza Aslan, this book is a wonderful in-depth introduction into a history of Islam. I think I learned at least as much about the Muslim faith from this book as I did about American Christianity last semester from Brother Fluhman, and that was a fantastic class. So I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about Islam. Because of final projects and other upcoming events, it may be a while before I finish another book.
