Now that the weather is so nice, I’ve been able to go out cycling on a regular basis. My roommate and I went up the Provo Canyon trail on Saturday, yesterday I made a few laps around campus, and this afternoon I made another trip up the trail after work. When we went up on the weekend, the trail was covered in snow just west of Bridal Veil Falls. Today, however, the trail had thawed out enough that I was able to get almost a mile past the falls.
There were still a few large patches of snow, so I was glad the trail wasn’t too heavily trafficked. It looks like it will be a while before the trail is open all the way to Vivian Park — the remainder of the trail has about a foot of snow on it, and because it’s in the shade most of the day, it won’t be melting anytime soon.
