New episodes of Monk and Psych tonight on USA Network. We receive the Pacific feed with Comcast, so Monk doesn’t come on until 10PM, but Monk and Psych are a few of the shows I don’t mind staying up late to watch. Not that I ever go to sleep that early anyway, but I usually prefer not to stare at a screen that late. Books are much easier on my eyes at night, and the transition from reading to sleeping is effortless.
For those who have been living in a cave, Governor Blagojevich was impeached today by the Illinois House, giving way for the impeachment proceedings to move into the Illinois State Senate. I, for one, am pleased to see the state’s legislature act so quickly in this matter. Whether or not Governor Blagojevich is indeed guilty of attempting to sell a seat in the US Senate, he is certainly unfit to be appointing anyone to President-elect Obama’s former position. And his haircut is really, really awful. Even for the Windy City. He could easily be hiding evidence under that mop — does anyone know if the FBI searched there?
