WordPress 2.7

I upgraded the blog to WordPress 2.7 early this afternoon, and I have to admit, I love the new admin interface. Gone are the days of the awful burnt orange. Not only is the dashboard a million times better, the post-writing interface has also undergone a major overhaul. The best new feature in 2.7? The text editor now uses a serif font! (If you don’t appreciate the significance of that fact, that’s okay, I forgive you — just don’t ever ask me to edit a paper for you.) In honor of the new version, I edited the theme so that the posts display in a serif font as well and tweaked the kerning a smidge just for good measure.
