Well, I didn’t end up blogging very much during my trip throughout Guatemala, but I promise to post a ton of photos. Right now, I’m in President Martinez’s house in Guatemala City, where we’ll stay the night before catching our flight back to the States tomorrow. It’s been nice to be here, even if I wasn’t able to visit any of the coast, but it will certainly be nice to get back to an air-conditioned apartment.
We arrive in Las Vegas around 8:30pm PDT, so my friend and I will stay the night at his aunt and uncle’s home there in Las Vegas and then drive back to Provo the next day. I’m not looking forward to another six-hour drive, but at least I won’t be sucking in diesel fumes. I have to start my new job on Monday, so I may spend most of Sunday catching up on some much-needed sleep.
